The Sylvester Family

On 9/11, Adam Sylvester is deploying to serve our country, so we did a family session about a week ago in Whitehall. We didn't have long before the storms rolled in, but what I captured I think is pretty great. Sarah and Adam are wonderful parents to two ADORABLE boys...they both have incredible eyes and infectious smiles! I am working with Operation Love: ReUnited which is a group of photographers nationwide that waive their session fee for a family that has a member deploying. The service member receives an album of the session to take with them and the portraits are offered at a discounted price. I was very honored to have met them and to Adam I say thanks to him for his service to our country....

The McNeil Family

I truly look up to the men and women that are currently serving or are deploying to serve our country, and cannot say how much I appreciate what they do or will be doing for us. I had the pleasure to photograph a session for my good friend, Ann McNeil, and her family. Ann's husband, Kelly, is deploying to Iraq in September and they wanted to have a session before he left. Ann and Kelly have two really great children and we all had a wonderful time. Starting out at their home and ending up at Meinert Park where they go to enjoy Lake Michigan was truly fun, and sentimental. Ann is one of the sweetest people I have ever met with a big heart, and Kelly and Ann are truly in love and their family is so close-knit. It was truly my pleasure to spend the evening with such wonderful friends!
