Today I met with Dezirae, her mom and her grandmother to give them the proof CD for Dezirae's senior portraits (thanks for meeting me half way today!!). It was great to meet Dezirae's grandmother and I was so happy that they loved the portraits!! There were so many beautiful shots that I had to share more..enjoy!!

Dezirae
I had the pleasure of spending Friday evening with my latest senior, Dezirae. Dezirae is a senior at Walkerville High School and is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. We cruised the countryside and got some great shots! Thanks, Dezirae, for the great time on Friday!! Enjoy....

Kathryn
Kathryn is an exchange student from Germany that is attending Shelby High School this year. She is staying with my inlaws and I hadn't had a chance to spend much time with her. What a great gal!! She is super funny and we really had a blast running around the countryside taking her photos. I can't wait to finish our session in the next few weeks...thanks for a great time, Kathryn!! Simply stunning, isn't she??

More Michelle...
One of my seniors, Michelle Schroeder, wanted to finish up her senior session capturing the great fall color, so we went and completed her session about a week ago. Michelle is so laid back and was such a trooper driving around and trekking through the woods to find the best spots...thanks Michelle!!

Aumiller Family
A few days ago I had the pleasure to photograph the Aumiller Family in Whitehall. Amber and her children are such great people and we had so much fun! Thank you Amber for letting me make beautiful memories for your family!!
Scholl Farm 2011
One place I must bring my boys to each fall is Scholl Farm in Montague. This is a pay-on-your-honor pumpkin and gourd patch with the best hayslide!! My boys love to play on the slide while I stroll through the pumpkins. Fall is my favorite season and I truly adore pumpkins. I love that each one is truly unique and how they glow in the sunlight. I especially love the pumpkins with the thick vines and an unusual shape. I think I have convinced my husband that in our field next year we will fill it with these orange (and green and white) beauties so I can see them daily! Thank you once again to the Scholl family for making my autumn a memorable one....

My Boys...
I took my boys out on a little shoot of their own the other day. Just around town....something relaxed and fun. At first they were not really into it, but eventually they warmed up a little bit (when I promised ice cream afterwards). Don't get me wrong, my boys are big hams but it can get a little old to them. I love these pictures..they are naturals....so handsome!
Michelle
Michelle is a senior from Montague High School. She wants to go into Agricultural Business when she graduates. She is such a funny, bubbly gal that I just know she will succeed in whatever she does....I can't see her going into anything besides something to do with farming. We took her portraits at her grandparent's farm and had a blast! Thanks to Michelle and her family for a great time!

Lindsey...omg! she's a senior!!
Holy smokes, my stepdaughter Lindsey is a senior this year!! It's so hard to believe...wow...I came into her life when she was five and she will be EIGHTEEN next month. She is very smart and has a good head on her shoulders, with a job she's had for quite some time and have I mentioned that she's simply stunning?! We have had our ups and downs, but I want to think we are in a good place now....I must admit it is bittersweet taking her senior photos, though....here's just a couple I've started editing. I just started playing around with texture, so enjoy!
Eva and family
I met Eva while being a sub for HeadStart....I worked in a classroom she was working in and we've been friends ever since. Eva wanted a family session with her parents who live in Florida, but were coming to their cottage in Silver Lake for a couple weeks. We were fortunate to have a great evening at the lighthouse in Silver Lake..a little breezy but other than that it was beautiful! Thanks, Eva, for letting me join you on a great summer evening! (Next time we'll bring the furkids!)

Peterson Family
BillieJo and Luke Peterson have such a beautiful family-we had a great session on Luke's grandfather's property, which is actually next door to my home. The natural beauty of Mudd Lake and not to mention their family made for some really great portraits...we had so much fun in the leaves that day! Thanks to BillieJo and Luke for letting me spend the evening with you!
